Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

Swami Satyanand requested me to inform everyone about the upcoming
"Yoga Alliance Certified 200 Hour Teacher Training Course" to be
held from Oct 22 to Nov 13, 2010 in their new North Carolina Retreat
Centre (Lakulish Yoga & Health Retreat Centre, Mebane, North
Carolina).

The cost is US $2000.00 for the entire course including training,
room and board.

SYLLABUS FOR HUAYEN PRACTITIONERS

In the preface to the handbook ‘Introduction to the Practice of Huayen’,
HeShang outlined the contents of preliminary practice for Huayen
practitioners as a means of accumulating merits to cultivate devotion
and realization.  These preliminary practices are ideal for beginners
who want to build a solid foundation for further practices as well as
seasoned practitioners who want deeper experiences on the path.

From Taiwan: Just received an email from Master Lung Zhong informing us
that HeShang's health has been improved from critical to good/stable. 
But please do join us in praying for Long Life and Good Health to HeShang.

From Toronto: The Venerable  Lung Xiang  FaShi passed away this morning
around 6:10 am May 15 Saturday in Toronto (North York General Hospital)
due to final stage of liver disease.  May the Triple Gems be with him
always.  May he be reborn in a place full of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

I am back from my India and Taiwan trip, it was a great learning experience for me. I am still very much behind with the catching up of my personal and business workload.

As HeShang is coming to Toronto and Vancouver in the middle of March, I would like to find out if there is any concerns or projects any Chapters would like to raise or undertake, so that we can talk it over with HeShang , if necessary.
