This is Octavio Cortes from Mallorca, Spain. I've been studying the huayen philosophy from english translations and I've started to make my own spanish translations of some excerpts, using my blog. As there is NOTHING about huayen in spanish language, maybe my work may interest you.

 I've started with the speeches about the appareance of Buddha from the book 2 of the Avatamsaka Sutra (form Cleary's translation) and a piece of Fa Tsang from Francis Cook's "Jewels net of indra".

I was with Master Haiyun for a week in Ann Arbor, his reply to many existential questions raised by us:

I have only recently discovered the existence of the historical Hua Yen Buddhism and Ven. Haiyun Jimeng.  I have been reading as much English language material (I'm not Chinese and don't read or speak Chinese) from Ven. Jimeng's book, the English material from the Hua Yen Quarterly newsletter to unrelated Hua Yen books that I've been able to locate.
