I have only recently discovered the existence of the historical Hua Yen Buddhism and Ven. Haiyun Jimeng. I have been reading as much English language material (I'm not Chinese and don't read or speak Chinese) from Ven. Jimeng's book, the English material from the Hua Yen Quarterly newsletter to unrelated Hua Yen books that I've been able to locate.

In your site you say: The integration of the teachings of the Avatamsaka Sutra with both Chan and tantric methods is a unique characteristic of Huayen practice. I understand more or less what you mean by Ch'an, however I would like to you what kind of Tantra do you practice - is it the "ecoteric Buddhism" of Zhenyan/Shingon 真言, or some of Tibetan tantras or maybe Taoist methods? If your tantric metod is based on Tibetan Vajrayana, do you have preference eg. for Guhyasamaja, Hevajra, Kalachakra, Dzogchen etc. ?
