Comments form Dr. Tony Prince regarding the Huayen Ouarterly JournalFrom Dr Tony Prince of Australia: Even in the age of the internet, a printed magazine can be an effective means of spreading and sharing knowledge of the teachings, and I hope that the Huayen Quarterly will continue to grow and develop, so that one day it will be able to speak for the entire international Huayen Community and will be of benefit to students and practitioners everywhere. This bilingual (Chinese and English) journal has the potential to become an important means of communication and expression for all Huayen practitioners living in English-speaking countries, and I hope that everybody will give it whatever support they can. From TLC: I would like to thank Dr. Prince for his support and encouragement. Anyone please feel free to give us comments or constructive suggestions regarding the journal. You can use this forum or send us email to: Thank you in advance!

I had been quite impressed by the three
extracts from the book on the Diamond Sutra that were chosen for Issue No. 5
(pp.10-13) of the Journal, and I thought they would be quite suitable
for Westerners as well. Are any of your people over there translating them into
English?
If nobody over there is working on the three passages I mentioned, I'm willing
to do the translation myself, as long as I don't have to work to a deadline.

Thanks Tony for his comments and help out in the translation.
Comments on the Summer 2007 issue #6 of the Huayen Ouarterly
From Dr. Tony Prince:
I'd also been meaning to compliment you on the striking photo you chose or the cover of the Summer edition. Nothing to do with the fact that it
was taken in Australia of course , -- I just think it's a good idea to et away from conventional Buddhist imagery every now and then and try
something a bit different.
Our response:
We like to thank you all for putting efforts into the printing of the journals.
It is with comments like this that keeps us going. Any constructive comments regarding the Journals are appreciated as they reflect that
