Hello,

I have only recently discovered the existence of the historical Hua Yen Buddhism and Ven. Haiyun Jimeng.  I have been reading as much English language material (I'm not Chinese and don't read or speak Chinese) from Ven. Jimeng's book, the English material from the Hua Yen Quarterly newsletter to unrelated Hua Yen books that I've been able to locate.

I would be very interested in joining or even starting up a local group to study and do Hua Yen Practice.  I live in Ventura County, just north of Los Angeles and would be happy to meet with others in the area who are more knowledgeable and/or simply interested in learning more about Hua Yen Practice.   If there aren't any in my local area, I'd very much to start a communication with someone who could assist me in learning more about this practice.
