Dear friends:

I am writing to let you know that as of October 18, 2007, I have accepted the role to be the president/chair of the North America Huayen Buddhist
Community.

I have accepted the role because I am confident with the Huayen group in Toronto, the continued support from Erin, and our liaison/secretary Sue.

I am excited with the prospect in October 2007 of meeting other members, brothers and sisters in Vancouver, Chicago, Ohio and Ann Arbor. I look forward to working with you to build a better Huayen community.
