As you may see at the bottom of each page of this site, we add some contexuel ads provided by Google. They are a kind of site-revenuing service called Google Adsense. 'Contexuel' means the ads are only (approximately) relevant to the contents displayed on th site.

The purpose of putting these ads is to collect some 'revenue' for HYBC-NA community. Harton Leu's home address is associated with our Adsense account, which will be used as the address where google mail the payment check. We don't expect revenue a lot from these ads, but no matter how much we get, it would be donated to HYBC-NA community.

Google will share ad revenue with the website in two ways:

(1) How many times the ads are clicked. Generally, for each clicking from North America, Google pay ad publisher, for example $0.14. Wow! If we click 100 times (very easy for us, right?), we will immediately get $14 ! NEVER do that!!!. Google have very smart tools to detect any frequent clicks from one IP address, and we will not be allowed to use Google Adsense for the lifetime if invalid/cheating clicks are found! However, this does not mean we can not click ads on our site. You can do it if you are really very interested on one ad. REMEMBER, do not purposely click any ad for 'earning'. As Buddhist, we need to be honest Google ad participant.

(2) How many times the ads are displayed or viewed. We can refresh our webpage so that Google ads can be displayed as many times as we want. Google will pay a few cents for every 1000 displays. There are no cheating for refreshing ads, since we have the right to view our site as any times as we want. Certainly, Google is smart, and it will not pay for repeated views of same ad from same IP address.
