今天有個小道友，勞動的，她突然間看到我，看看左右沒有人，她才問我幾句話，不然她不敢問。

她看沒有人了，她問我，她說：老法師啊！我想修禪怎麼入定啊？

我說：妳在幹什麼？
她說：在勞動呢！
我說：在入定！

過去播出於佛衛電視台，海雲法師開示：
(前略，)老人家說念觀世音普薩(祈求)就會有效，那你去聯考數學時，一看題目都不會，念觀世音菩薩會有效？
有效。
怎麼有效？如果你平常就習慣念觀世音普薩法號，你一坐進考場，先念七次，你的心就會靜下來。不慌亂的情況下，剛剛看錯的就看懂了，就可以正確的寫出答案。
不然你以為怎麼樣？觀世音普薩又不會線性代數，怎麼幫你寫？
