今天跟同事上班閒聊的時候談到了一個日漸嚴重的問題...

起因是我們在交換教學經驗...
我有個學生在小小的十二歲過著過分充實的生活
每周3-4個運動項目不說...周末還要學兩種語言...還有學一種樂器...
在我說我唯一能做的事是把我的課程弄的更有趣...我們提到現在很多父母求好心切的對孩子提出要求...
當然...我能理解在這個世界上沒有兩把刷子是很難生存的...
可是還是要讓孩子做孩子該做的事...

有些事是孩子還不需要知道的

During work today... some co-workers and I were talking about a rising problem...

This is the first New Year for this forum!! Happy New Year to everyone!!!

In the few days into 2007... I heard many tragic stories

First of all, there is an island that sank near India...no survivors...

Secondly, there are news regarding young children who lost their family and are not able to support themselves...

Thirdly... a friend of mine lost her child two months before the child was supposed to be born...

Moreover...the supposedly cold Michigan is abnormally warm...

As I hear these stories... I hope people are not discouraged because of the negative incidents

這是這個論壇的第一個新年!! 先祝大家新年快樂!!!

在跨年過的短短幾天裡...我聽到了很多很多的悲劇...
先是印度有個島沉了...所有島上的居民全部喪生...
再來是兩則小朋友失去家人而過著有一餐沒一餐的生活的新聞...
接著是我朋友的孩子在還來不及來到這世上就往生了的消息...
加上本來應該很冷的密西根一點都沒有冬天的樣子...

看著世界的不完美...
希望人不要被這些負面的事情影響...
也希望能藉由這些事情而警惕所有的人...

以前總能聽到「和時間賽跑」，感覺那是誇張的修辭。沒想到自己簡簡單單的生活中現在也不時的面臨著這樣的問題。
